State Route 303 & 305: pavement repairs and chip & seal in Village of Hiram, Shalersville, Freedom & Hiram Townships. Beginning May 26, pavement repairs and chip and seal, with lane restrictions: on SR 303 between SR 44 and SR 700; and SR 305 between SR 82 and SR 305. Completion: late August. State Route 303 will be closed for a culvert replacement in Shalersville Township during second half of July.

Notice: Portage County residents will receive their tax bills late, due to the implementation of the new Ohio Inflation Cap Credit. The deadline for receiving the tax payment has been extended to August 31, 2026. Submitting an estimated payment may result in an overpayment, complicating the refund process.
